Nicole works as an Instructional Desinger in the Continuing Teacher Education department at Queen's university. She is also working toward a Masters in Education with a focus on learning and cognition. It is from her experiences leading projects to create and revise some of our ever expanding 140+ courses, and prior work in the classroom as a Ontario Certified Teacher, that she has learned her true calling and when her strengths as an education professional are out to best use. With a passion for the learner-centred education, I have found much such success in structuring courses and tasks so that they might motivate teachers for further investigation into a topic as well as supply the, with a variety of tools and resources to be of practical use in their daily instruction.

As we ever strive to meet a quality standard of courses that adequately prepare teacher for their teaching endeavours, we do so as our contribution to supporting the education system by arming teachers with a variety of tools and resources to increase the chances that fair practices are being supported as well as an integration of a holistic and authentic practices and assessments.
